Why not give it a try? For one month do these five things daily to be happier.
1) Think of 3 things you are grateful for.
2) Write about a positive experience from the last 24 hours.
3) Exercise
4) Meditate
5) Perform one random act of kindness
In addition, I personally think that not subjecting yourself to a constant influx of negativity help considerably. Don't click those comment links if you know that something someone says is going to put you in a bad mood. If you need to shut off social media, do it. If you need to walk away from the constant bad news the media is throwing at you, do so.
I also think that searching out positive messages can also help toward a happier you. And in that, I wanted to create a happy space on the internet. Someplace where the messages are positive. Yes, there are other websites out there that offer this. I don't think there could ever be too many positive websites and blogs. Somedays you need a little more positivity than others.
